Sandgropers Select their side for Africa

The Sandgropers have particiapted in the African draft and selected their side for the 2026 Spirit of Cricket T20 Tournament in Cape Town. With the help of local contacts, Simon Milton and the Directors of Sandgroper Cricket have picked a balanced side of local and overseas players and as per an earlier announcement have been luck enough to secure the services of Ryan Campbell as the Marquee player for the tournament.

The event in Cape Town will run from the 10th October to the 17th October and is the inaugural international tournament being held by Spirit of Cricket Global that is outside of Australia and the Sandgropers are looking forward to the opportunity to play in Africa and to meet new team mates and make new friends abroad.
